Thanks, seriously! Of course there are no pictures to color in, its a regular book. Yes, yes, thats right, those are words written down, you keep hearing about them, and I try to teach you.

Ok, the collective that is a group mind of energy entities that together make up a miniture ice diety is relaxing into a glass of water, well, now its ice, anyway, finally I can't tell that guy who visits my site about what it is I have in my hands right now.
Oh grow up, this is not where I do that, I have a book in my hand, and I know very well that the person who comes to this site is me, I am just pretending it's slightly different, for the sake of.... I was going to say sanity, but thats far from the case... of forget that derailed train of thought.
My roomate bought The Riven Shield, by Michelle West(or Sagara, I think, in Canada), last week, and finished it, and surprised me by handing it to me to read. I had had no idea it was already out, I had thought it was going to be out the 21.
And I have only read possibly 45 pages. I am savoring, for the first time. ALready she has tied two character's together through a history that I hadn't seen coming, and that makes so much sense, and that I can't wait to see unfold.
Michelle West(Goddess up north), has an authors' note in the beginning of the book. She apologizes for taking so long between books, as well as apologizes to those who she told this would be the last book. The project went to 2000 pages, and nothing could be cut, so there will be one more, though that is not looking all that concrete either.
Best of all, she hint's, in the Acknowledgements, that this there will be a series after this one, connected. In all probability, I am jumping the gun, most likely because I had thought at the beginning of the last book, the Sea Of Sorrows, that she would need another series to flush out some characters that are too young to do what I think they will do. And the whole time travel thing I doubt she would use in that way, to speed up characters. I do think she will make a another series, and I think she might be hinting at it here, but it is a stretch... I dunno, I have my own stuff to work on, so if I manage to savor this book, and work as much as possible on my other shiza, then maybe I wont notice the wait between her books as much this time.

Odd, the diety hollowed out a thing area in its middle, in the glass, and there looks like steam coming from it. Are they breathing or is it come other kinda thing? Since they are actually not solid of physical, they are energy.
