I wrote a story last year called Why Can't Every Day Be Thursday?
It's a preposturous trip through a man's life, or at least how he perceives it through the binoculars of denial and delusion. You walk with him as he strolls through an impossible landscape doing things that only make sense to him, and you witness the dreams he has surrounded himself in as they take form and embody his need for escapism.
He has grand adventures, but always ends up home wednesday nights, just as his memory regains control and his pain tries to manifest.
Why long for Thursday?
No, seriously, you tell me. I will post half the story today, and half tomorrow.
